In May 2019, Training Outreach partnered with the Sustainable Workplace Alliance to promote whole community emergency preparation and response and provide assistance to Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPC) by identifying best practices and guiding principles.

Training Outreach to Support New Beginning Youth Development Center and Youth Services Center

Effective April to October 2019, Training Outreach’s Jim Resnick will support Strategic Educational Consulting with conducting detailed safety assessments and fire drill observations of the secure facilities operated and managed by New Beginning Youth Development Center and Youth Services Center.

Training Outreach Hired as Leading Meeting Planner for the 11th Annual Border Patrol Foundation Recognition Dinner

In October 2018, Laura Johnson of Training Outreach was hired to be the lead meeting planner for the 11th Annual Border Patrol Foundation Recognition Dinner, which brings in more than 400 prestigious guests and includes a reception, silent auction and sit-down dinner. The event recognizes the efforts of the U.S. Border Patrol, the families of the fallen, and those who support them.

Training Outreach to Support Maryland Association of Floodplain & Stormwater Managers

Laura Johnson of Training Outreach was hired in March 2019 to support the Maryland Association of Floodplain & Stormwater Managers with their Fall 2019 Conference, including speaker management, marketing outreach, onsite assistance and registration services.

Training Outreach Renews Contract for Event Manager Services for BPF Event

Training Outreach President Laura Johnson will serve as the Event Manager for non-profit organization Border Patrol Foundation’s 10th Annual Recognition Dinner, which will take place in October 2018.  Ms. Johnson is managing all venue contract negotiations and logistics, as well as client and onsite management.

Training Outreach Awarded Contract to Conduct Two Functional Exercises for Maryland’s Office of Emergency Management

In September 2018, Training Outreach was awarded a contract to conduct two functional exercises in the Emergency Operations Center for Montgomery County, Maryland’s Office of Emergency Management. The first FE took place in November and exercised the County’s new Family Reunification Plan, and tested shelter operations and donations management.
