Training Outreach to Create Community Preparedness Materials

In August 2013, The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (OEMHS) hired Training Outreach to augment existing community preparedness materials and create new preparedness material. The materials are being used to reach out to vulnerable and other groups in the county.  Deliverables included a logo for the County Animal Response Team (CART), advertisements for Ride-On buses to educate the public about emergency preparedness and a 20-page children’s coloring book to teach basic hazards and preparedness in a simple way.  Training Outreach’s Web and Print Designer, Sharon Martin, served as project lead.
