Kimberley Hovda is a detail-oriented team leader who works diligently to meet corporate and personal objectives and has extensive knowledge in the federal, state, and local markets. She supports Training Outreach and its clients by recruiting and managing speakers, coordinating venue and catering needs and marketing research and outreach. Ms. Hovda recently served as Director, Marketing and Meetings for Homeland Defense Journal where she planned and managed over a hundred homeland defense and IT Security events, from small workshops to large conferences. Her responsibilities also included creating conference and workshop brochures and web pages, managing the marketing schedule and producing promotional marketing emails, and assisting the company in meeting monthly budget objectives by determining ROI of events.
Prior to HDJ, Ms. Hovda served as Manager, Grants Products, for INPUT where she created and revised business plans detailing product content, functionality, planned enhancements, marketing and sales strategies, and competitive analysis. Ms. Hovda attained prime responsibility for overall success and profitability of Federal Grants web-based products, managed the Grants product team, including ongoing training and recruitment, and productivity, and trained sales team to effectively demonstrate product to prospects and clients. Kimberley Hovda has her B.S. in Marketing from George Mason University and is President of Toastmasters.
