Training Outreach Awarded Contract to Conduct Two Functional Exercises for Maryland’s Office of Emergency Management
In September 2018, Training Outreach was awarded a contract to conduct two functional exercises in the Emergency Operations Center for Montgomery County, Maryland’s Office of Emergency Management. The first FE took place in November and exercised the County’s new Family Reunification Plan, and tested shelter operations and donations management.
Training Outreach Provides “Stop the Bleed” Training to Discovery Channel
Training Outreach instructors provided a “Lunch and Learn” training class at the Discovery Channel in Silver Spring, teaching employees about the Heimlich Maneuver and how to apply a tourniquet in case of an emergency.

Training Outreach Hired to Provide Contract Support for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)
In February 2018, Training Outreach was hired to provide contract support across all project phases focused on development of two tabletop exercises and one full-scale exercise for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). The exercises focused around Active Shooter scenarios, and the firm provided logistics, planning, facilitation, moulage, and other services.
Training Outreach to Train NIH employees on Emergency Response
In January 2018, Training Outreach contracted with Chenega Corporation to provide 4-hour emergency response instruction, which includes in-classroom training and two outdoor drills with moulage. Training Outreach also provided two training courses for NIH in 2017.
