Training Outreach Supporting Montgomery County Fire & Rescue

In May 2016, Training Outreach was awarded a contract by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services to document and provide recommendations for Emergency Support Function (ESF) 4, 9 and 10 activities for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.  Training Outreach teamed with retired Deputy Fire Chief Demetrios Vlassopoulos to provide documentation and recommendations to county officials related to the county’s Commission on Fire Accreditation International’s report.  Training Outreach had been managing this contract through OEMHS since 2013.

Training Outreach Named MBE for Maryland DoT Project

In May 2016, Training Outreach and First Data were awarded a contract to perform a high-level review of 7 agencies under the purview of the MD Department of Transportation (DOT) to include Organizational, Functional and Technical assessment of current standards, procedures and processes.  Findings and recommendations will be documented and presented in an "Executive Workshop" as a guide to moving MD DOT towards their modernization goals.

Training Outreach Announces New Nonprofit Client, ICE Foundation

On March 2, 2016, Training Outreach contracted with the ICE Foundation to help them develop and manage their Annual Dinner at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel on June 14, 2016.  Training Outreach President Laura Johnson and her team helped oversee VIPs and vendors, secured sponsors and silent auction items, and managed volunteers and onsite activities.

Training Outreach Helps MoCo FRS with Accreditation Work

In February 2016, Training Outreach teamed with Deputy Fire Chief Demetrios Vlassopoulos to document and provide recommendations for Emergency Support Function (ESF) 4, 9 and 10 activities for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. The Training Outreach team is providing documentation and recommendations to county officials related to the county’s Commission on Fire Accreditation International’s report.    Training Outreach has managed these activities through a grant managed by OEMHS for the two years prior.

Training Outreach Supports DomPrep with Training Roundtables

In December 2015, publishing company DomesticPreparedness.com hired Training Outreach to market and manage logistics for a Coast Community Resiliency Roundtable that took place in late winter 2016 in New York City. Training Outreach performed contracting services, vendor management, speaker outreach and marketing and registration services.

Training Outreach Awarded UASI Grant to Create Multi-Facility Correctional Facility Evacuation Plan

On September 11, 2015, Training Outreach was awarded a contract to develop a comprehensive plan that allowed the law enforcement and corrections communities within the NCR to attain advanced readiness in case a large-scale regional emergency or disaster impacting multiple facilities and requiring the evacuation and redistribution of affected inmate populations and staff across the NCR. Training Outreach built on existing local plans to arrive at a comprehensive solution for the entire region.
